Nashville NoBS Workshop

I recently attended a Photography Workshop in Nashville that was nothing short of AWESOME. The first day was a workshop with Steve and Shelley Harrington from http://www.steveharrington.net/ They specialize in High School Seniors and are wonderful instructors. Of course I learned a ton and had a blast! The next three days was sponsored by the NoBS Photography Forum http://www.nobsphotosuccess.com/ and was some of the most intense instruction I've ever been a part of. I can not say enough about this forum and it's members, it was just incredible. The last day was a glamour photography workshop put on by Andy Armstrong of Knoxville. Andy is an outstanding glamour photographer and is also the creator of Design House, which is an outstanding suite of Photoshop Products. His knowledge of posing and Photoshop is nothing sort of remarkable! http://www.getdesignhouse.com/

Tennessee Valley Fair Photo Contest

Well I just entered my first Photography Competition and I'm quite pleased with the results!

This is my oldest son, Scott. This image placed 4th in the Abstract/Special Effects Category.

This is a friend of mine, Ty Robins. Taken at the Nashville Speedway, this image placed 3rd in the Action Category.

And I saved the best for last! This is Isaballe, our Yorkie. This image won the Domestic Animal Category and placed 3rd in Best of Show!
